Eliud Jimenez

My name is Eliud Jimenez, and my story began in the small town of Plainview in West Texas.

Growing up, I worked in the cotton fields as a young boy, where I learned the value of hard work, humility, discipline, and perseverance. Those early experiences shaped who I am today and taught me that nothing in life comes easy without dedication and sacrifice.

After graduating from Plainview High School, I continued my education and began my professional journey as an executive secretary before eventually earning my bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University. I later earned my Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, which opened the doors to a successful corporate career spanning nearly 30 years.

Throughout my career, I worked across multiple industries including manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, healthcare, and the sports industry, eventually serving in executive leadership and C-suite Human Resources roles. Today, I continue serving organizations as an HR consultant, helping businesses with leadership, compliance, recruiting, operations, and organizational growth.

But outside of corporate America, I discovered another passion that completely changed my life — dog grooming.

Curly Tails Grooming was born from a deeply personal chapter in my life. During one of the most difficult periods my family faced, I found peace, healing, and purpose through caring for dogs. What started as grooming my own pets eventually turned into helping friends, rescues, and families throughout the community.

As I began working with more pets, I noticed something heartbreaking — many animals were being neglected, abandoned, or surrendered simply because families could not afford the rising grooming costs associated with many breeds, especially designer dogs.

That stayed with me.

I decided I wanted to create something different.

I traveled to Mexico City to receive my dog grooming certification and have continued pursuing continuing education and advanced training in pet care ever since. My love for animals has inspired me to continue learning, and I have even explored becoming a dog trainer and veterinary technician to further expand my knowledge and better serve pets and their families.

For me, grooming is not just about appearance.

It is about dignity, care, patience, and trust.

I believe pets should be treated with love, respect, and compassion — just like family. That is why I choose not to crate dogs whenever possible and instead focus on creating a calm, safe, one-on-one environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for.

One of the greatest rewards has been helping rescue dogs transform. Watching neglected pets regain confidence, happiness, and life after being abandoned is something that continues to inspire me every single day.

Curly Tails Grooming was built on compassion, honesty, and accessibility.

I understand that pet owners want quality care without feeling overwhelmed by excessive fees and constant upcharges. That is why I created an all-inclusive pricing model focused on fairness, transparency, and quality service without charging extra for every small detail.

Today, I am grateful for the incredible clients, rescue organizations, and supporters who continue to believe in Curly Tails Grooming. Many of them have become more than clients — they have become family and advocates for the brand we are building together.

From a C-suite executive to a weekend dog groomer, this journey has become more than a business.

It has become my passion, my therapy, my purpose, and my way of giving back.

At Curly Tails Grooming, every fur kid is treated with patience, compassion, dignity, and love — because they deserve nothing less.
