My Story

I’m Eliud Jimenez

a lifelong dog lover who turned my passion for pets into something special for our community.

After years of taking my own pups — two Goldendoodles, a Maltese, and a Maltipoo — to groomers and being told over and over that our Goldendoodles had to be shaved, I decided to learn the grooming trade myself. What started as a personal mission to keep our dogs fluffy and comfortable has now become Curly Tails Grooming — a place where every fur baby is treated with patience, care, and love.

By profession, I’m an HR Consultant. My day job involves navigating complex employee relations matters, compliance issues, workplace investigations, and all the corporate minutia that comes with organizational leadership. Grooming became my therapy — a way to decompress, reset, and step away from the intensity of corporate problem-solving.

There’s something incredibly grounding about brushing out a coat, carefully shaping a trim, and seeing a dog relax under your care. In many ways, this work restores me. It reminds me of patience, presence, and simple joy — things that often get lost in boardrooms and spreadsheets.

With my background as a long-time Human Resources executive turned professional groomer, I built this business on values of trust, communication, and genuine care — the same principles that guided my career in people development. I’ve learned that grooming is about more than just looks; it’s about making pets feel safe, happy, and confident.

At Curly Tails Grooming

Pets are never crated. I believe in creating a calm, stress-free environment where your furry family member feels loved and at ease from start to finish.

I’m more than a groomer

I’m a pet parent, too. I understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s hands, and I’m committed to treating them like my own.

So whether it’s a quick bath, a trim, or a full makeover, your pets will always leave looking great, feeling happy, and wagging their curly tails!
